QRd app has been developed by a small team. Our mission is to help you sharing your contact with a digital business card. We care deeply about your privacy, and we always want to be completely transparent about the way QRd handles your data. This document is our Privacy Policy, and by using QRd, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy so please read this document carefully. Because we’re an app development company, some of the concepts below are a little technical, but we’ve tried our best to explain things in a simple and clear way. If you agree to use QRd, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that collected is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at QRd unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

What information we collect and how we use it

QRd does not require any form of registration or the creation of a personal user account to use it. You can use QRd anonymously without having to provide a name, username or e-mail address.

The information that we request will be retained on your device and is not collected by us in any way.

Anonymous usage data and third-party analytics

We use third-party services (Flurry Analytics) in QRd in order to help us respond to support requests, detect and diagnose any potential issues and understand how QRd is used so that we can improve your overall experience with QRd. We never share any of your data with any of those services.
Those third-party services may use and store anonymous aggregate data such as the IP addresses or device identifiers of the devices, device characteristics, location data, version of QRd installed on your device, the iOS version that your device is running on and whether or not you have access to our premium features. If any of those services require your name or email address, for example in case you want to contact our support team, then those services will ask you explicitly to share this information.

Crash Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use QRd, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

  • To facilitate our Service;
  • To provide the Service on our behalf;
  • To perform Service-related services; or
  • To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

We want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access to your Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

What choices do you have about your information?

Our goal is to give you simple and meaningful choices over your information. Many of the choices you have on QRd are built directly into the product or can be controlled by the Settings app that.

  • Choose to enable Contacts Usage through the iOS Settings
  • Choose to enable Camera Usage through the iOS Settings
  • Choose to enable Photo Library Usage through the iOS Settings
  • Choose to disable iCloud syncing and backups through the Settings panel in QRd
  • Choose to delete your all QRds through the Settings panel in QRd

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page. If the changes are significant, we may provide more prominent notice or get your consent as required by law. We will not change this agreement to allow the collection of your Data or make other significant changes without your consent.
